Called bas-relief sculpture in leather, it is a technique combining sculpture and painting to produce remarkably unique, accurate  and full of life portraits of the Southwest and individuals by commission.

Transforming a pen and ink sketch into a bas relief portrait in leather is a breathtaking process.
